Privacy notice

This notice describes the current BoringLLMs beta. Updated October 7, 2026.

What we store

Accounts contain a username, a password hash, a recovery-code digest, and necessary sign-in records. We do not collect email addresses or store plaintext passwords or recovery codes. Reviews, ratings, use cases, dates, helpful votes, and reports are stored in our database.

What is public

Approved reviews, ratings, platform details, usage dates, and your username are public. Pending or rejected reviews are visible only to you and administrators. Reports are private to administrators. Do not include phone numbers, addresses, keys, private conversations, or information about other people.

Necessary cookies and request records

Necessary cookies support sign-in, request protection, and language selection. Sign-in lasts up to 14 days. This beta uses no advertising or third-party behavioral analytics. Short-lived request counters use a keyed digest of network addresses to limit abuse; expired counters are regularly removed. Server logs may include network addresses, paths, status codes, and timestamps, with up to 14 days of retention.

Service providers

The site and database run on DigitalOcean. Cloudflare provides network delivery, security, and static-asset caching. These providers process network information necessary to deliver the service. Official model links lead to their respective providers’ websites.

Managing and deleting your data

You can edit or delete your reviews, or delete your account and its reviews, helpful votes, and reports from your account page. Deleted reviews no longer affect public ratings. Daily database backups are retained for seven days for recovery, and older copies expire through rotation. Recovery codes are shown only when generated; without your password or recovery code, email recovery is not available.
